The only real issue with that Red is how Evans missed it in real time, it was an absolute leg breaker of a tackle.

Woke up for work this morning and was surprised to see Western had won. Did the Jets play badly?

I watched large parts of that game and was totally surprised by what I saw. One, WU did not play like the team that lost 2:0 to us last week. Two, Newcastle were definitely not playing like the team that thrashed us 3:0 at home in NZ some months ago. WU did not hit them them on a counter against the run of play - the Jets simply never looked likely at all. And I put money on that pathetic lot to get a win away. I cannot even blame Risdon; he was relatively OK by his brutal standards.
Unsurprisingly, it sounds like the Pink concert has ruined the Allianz Stadium pitch.
