CCM suffering the same fate as us. Win the previous rounds game, go 3 nil down at half time, then let in another lateish goal to make it 4 nil.
Well least we finish ahead of CCM this season.

AFC being made to look very average by SFC - two more Sydney goals and a win later by Adelaide and they'll drop to 4th.

1 game to go in the @aleaguemen season, and only Newcastle (week off) and Victory (home final) know with certainty where they will be next weekend.#SYDvAKL #MCYvADL #ALeague pic.twitter.com/UQo6pedhHH

With AFC’s 2nd goal was that Gillion’s first ever ALM assist?
Didn’t see the game but he’s been playing well in the OFC Pro League.
Edit - I'll answer my own question. It's his 2nd assist in 20 ALM games. Got one last season. Only 102 mins this season.
Hopefully he can get some more mins for AFC, and add some 'finished product'. I'm a fan, and think he can can still make himself a useful A League player.

Adelaide come from behind, two goals from Jovanovich, so he'll share the golden boot with Cosgrove. And he gets sent off for a second yellow for taking his shirt off.

I know ya'll will celebrate because fuck auckland and all that.
But Adelaide 100% should've been down to 10 with Barnett getting his second yellow right before that.
I just cannot with this league.
Bet you were really looking forward to that break before the semi, huh AFC?

On the bright side I won't have to deal with both NZ teams losing next week

I'm not sure we will beat Brisbane in the first leg, we could well lose.

If Auckland somehow go on to win the toilet seat, pray to God they don't, then I'll 100% apologise for my last post.

Awful attendance. Less than almost all regular season matches it feels

who cares, clubs achieved more than the us inside 24 months and has been woefully out of form and will probably lose today.

They’re getting to dominate territory now, but struggling to move the ball through the City defense.

They’re missing out if so.
Weird to think of them as underdogs, but it was like watching a team play themselves back into form. The T-1000 reassemble itself if you like. The half started with all the playing their box. And it just moved further and further into the City half, until 1-0 with 10 seconds on the clock.
Sod it. Sorry guys until they play themselves Jets I’m supporting Auckland in these finals.
Woud composed and playing off two feet too.
And yes I did take a head knock this week from a low hanging blunt object, so it could be the after effects of that talking…

Finals football - Weird system. AFC could win this, get a full house next weekend and win 2-0 against ADL then end up with a home GF.
Not bad for an out of form team.

Last season's May has finally turned up for AFC in the last few weeks. 1-0 at HT
As…Cosgrove mini me with 4 headed goals?
They’ll take it, but he’s not quite lashing home from 30 yards and terrifying defenses with the insolence he showed!
More to come perhaps?

You are missing the return leg of the semis.

I know but having a 2-0 first leg win is quite imposing...

Atkinson and Kutleshi have a good contest of waving arms at the referees and Sakai, a bit weak on the ball, comes away with a soft foul.
More what we expect from these two teams.😀
Good header from Rogerson and decent hit from Howieson!

You think Auckland will need a second here the way City are pushing.

LOL sums up AFC's season.
They would have been first by a mile if they didn't concede last minute.

Fantastic ball from Behich.
Auckland might be spent here. Plus the psychological effect of the late sucker punch.
Needs some individual genius perhaps.

I definitely prefer the 2 legged ties. Don't know why they've done away with that. Would sell more tickets too
