Outrageous incompetence by the linesman. Why couldn't the ref simply overrule him? He was just as close to the so-called foul and didn't blow for it.

That's just a normal challenge you'd see in any part of the field. The ball's gone before there is any kind of post-challenge contact. The Seoul guy was visibly mystified when the lino waved his flag.

As much to blame was Polenz who could've sent his defensive header just about anywhere away from goal but inexplicably lobbed it right back into the box. Not the fault of smoke getting in their eyes, just stupidity.

It's unfortunate for the A-league that the best clubs in the league right now are those not playing ACL 

Is there a way to fix that though? Just seems to be the nature of the beast.

I feel like I'm in the very small minority of people who are really into the ACL. i think its an amazing competition and there are some hugely quality players in there.

The reality is that none of the sides in the A league are good enough to compete in the ACL.
