Been like that all second half that I've watched. WSW defending and hitting on the counter, as per normal. If Seoul had any plan other than aimless crossing into the box, WSW might be in trouble but since Seoul couldn't score in a brothel, its working.

Home & away final, 25th Oct / 1st Nov. A couple of their A-League fixtures will have to be moved now, v CCM & v Roar.

Hope WSW get tonked tonight in the first leg but they will probably jag an ugly 1-0 win.

Amazingly WSW won from one good cross and a sweet finish, despite being under the pump for most of the game.

To be fair, I kept tuning in periodically, alternating between this and the Melbourne derby, so I may have missed anything exceptional on their part. I was more interested in seeing David Vila since he has now cut his stay short, than WSW. Shame, he is leaving, it would have been great to see him walk out onto the Westpac Stadium pitch to the tune of "who are ya?", followed by thunderous applause.

The best side was Al-Hilal  but that is the way games can go. I will be very surprised if WSW can hang onto this 1-0 in the return leg.

Their  sponsorship is worth 23 million dollars a year so these guys are not bunnies. They can afford to get top players from all over the world.

Pretty hard for any A league team to compete with those sort of resources.

WSW were extremely lucky Al Hilal didn't pack their scoring boots, and then took their virtually one and only chance. good on them they are in with a shot but you've got to imagine that Al Hilal won't be as wasteful in front of goal for the return leg.

I'll be in Auckland on Sunday, is there any place I can watch the game live? or I have to find a stream?

Streaming is the only way to watch the ACL in NZ, unfortunately.

An amazing achievement for such a young club. Great for the profile of the A-League.

Great promotional line for Friday's game. Wellington Phoenix v Asian Champions.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)
