Right who is watching this?

The pitch looks like absolute sh*t so they will have that to their advantage.

First look at Joel Griffiths for a long while. I'm assuming he's no less unpleasant than the last time we saw him. Do your thing, Kev....

Griffiths and most of the Beijing players wearing gloves.  i think we can assume cold.

The Beijing midfield get up and down quickly. One moment they have 5 on attack, the next they have 7 back defending.

The Beijing attack is quite nice to watch. Instead of just sprinting up the pitch they are turning. passing back and giving the rest of the midfield time to catch up. all within a few quick passes.Stefan2010-02-24 01:01:58

Worst free kick I've seen since a Bojic effort for CCM early this season. Comically bad.

How did Melbourne survive that?

Melbourne are losing posession very easlily. The Beijing players have got some wonderful first touches. and they arent the ones to go to ground easily.

Lets see how that catches on..

Interesting Merrick saying that Beijings style of play is just putting through long balls.
But thats all Muscat has really done all game.

f**k me, some of those balls they put in are delicious.

That shot.. Not so much.

Similar to being burnt.

Yeah. Like when you leave wood on a patch of grass for a while it kills the grass.
Except in this case the wood is snow.

Or when you leave a huge stage on the pitch for a week.Stefan2010-02-24 01:25:29

Muscat's only just sneaking by these days. He gives away an awful lot of ball, often under no pressure and is getting caught out of position more and more.

He has been off tonight, but im sure Merrick will explain why

Beijing is very very dry. It rains once if you are lucky all winter.

Merrick needs to do something about that right flank. Sukha is not dealing with Griffiths at all well.

It could be that. Or it could also be a grass disease like a lawn fungus or a pest like a Billbug or mole cricket.
