Can Adelaide back up their opening week win? Can Wanderers score their first goal? I'm picking neither, I think it will be a 0-0 draw.

I think Adelaide will be too strong and romp home.

Think Wanderers are an interesting side. Seem to have 5 or 6 really decent players, a few more squad players and then a whole load of gambles. I liked thew look of Polenz and Mooy in the middle - however cant see them scoring enough goals.

I also think a draw although I'm hoping for some goals. Or an Adelaide win will help my tipping

What happened to John McKain? I remember him being decent here.

Why can't he do it again?

Wasnt he absolute shite with Adelaide? Polar opposite from his time spent with us. He was captain and ended up dropped to the bench ...

To be fair I think McKain's been having knee problems of late, but, yes, he was surprisingly poor for the Reds last season. Better in the ACL campaign but still nowhere near the commanding form of his salad days with the Nix.

Golek or Fyfe? - now that's a selection I don't envy Kosmina having to make every week.

I'll do him the favour of spelling his name correctly this time, but my god Golec is shite.

Classic Topor-Stanley moment, clumsy challenge in the box but Covic saved the peno. was a yawn fest until then now adelaide get their goal on a counter attack.

Fuck this stupid game

That ball from Ramsay.  Sexy.

West Sydney wearing the exact same Nike strip as the Nighthawks.  Defence similar as well.

Oh dear, poor old Hyphen. First he coughs up the penalty (saved, luckily for him) then gives away possession at the Adelaide end of the park and gets horribly caught out, with Jeronimo making up for the pen failure by slotting home.

Oh my this terrible. The sydney derby might put Turin to sleep if the two teams don't improve drastically.

I think the Nix would run rings around both teams tonight. I haven't seen a performance that we should be afraid of this season yet.

Apart from looking a little bit like Karl Pilkington, Kresinger adds precisely nothing to the Westies' attack.

Don't worry, they've got Hero-cam to look forward to.

All the knockers re WS. How good were we in our second game in the league? These guys have a good base and will only get better.

You know you don't have to defend every Australian game Leggy?  On our one display we were clearly better than either side out there tonight.  That is a fact.

There is maybe one post about how poor West Sydney were, and I'm pretty sure you will find that after two games we also had a point and had actually scored a couple of goals.

We also didn't need the league rules changed to help our recruitment, had half the time to do it, didn't spend half a million a year on a marquee player and had 14,000+ in a market less than 20% the size of West Sydney.

Ledgerwise that is a clear win to us after two matches.

Jeronimo - best name in the league.
Not a fan of Jimmy Jeggo?

I was almost right with my 0-0 call. Couldn't see any one scoring until that moment of class by Ramsey. Very disappointing crowd also, 8,950.

Lots of errors tonight, schoolboy football. WSW definitely have potential though, I think they've got a reasonable chance in the derby.

While he played well (ish), I found Craig Foster's fawning on Twitter over Jeronimo truly puke inducing.  I suspect I wasn't alone.

I know, I know, its serious!

Suspect that that is a very inflated figure my pax from right on kick-off was 76XX

Adelaide were rubbish, Some v. hairy moments and Watson doesnt deserve to get paid for his performance last night.

Eugene won that game really, and was rightfully getting stuck in to his players after numerous NRMAWSW attacks

NRMAWSW have some class, but as already has been said they also have the "Bridge and Haliti" "Hypen and Beauchamp" chains around their ankles.

Based on last night Nix would be comfortable winners, however WSW have plenty of room to improve, not sure about how much higher we can lift.
