They were poor tonight I thought. I don't rate Burns at all (never have) and Coyne isn't that much better than your average A-League CB. They miss Ruka too. They will probably be better with the extra space we will give them however.

Plus Pellegrino, who was so often the provider for Perth last season, had an absolute shocker. Sikora has class but he doesn't work hard enough. Basically their midfield was mush tonight.

Pellegrino is crap when he plays wider which is where he ended up a lot tonight. He's better when he's in the middle. I think that Perth are lacking a bit of pace this season without Ruka/Downey - even Trinidad.

Wouldn't write off anyone after the first game - is a long(er) season this year. I think Perth will be a good side but will take a few games to click. Not sure why they see Sterj as a striker, though, apparently Zdrillic used to outscore him when they played for Sydney United.
