As a neutral Perth deserved at least a point. In fact, that is the best they have played this season.
Despite the incompentance of the ref. the game was end to end and good to watch.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

If Archie was not bought down, was was he going to do next. He was going to crack it at goal. quite obvious really. Hence = red card.

Refs should be full time agree.

Worst game I've seen since I last saw us play. Was barracking for a Perth win tbh. Disgraceful effort for all concerned bar the fans, Arch, and Covic.

At the risk of having a tray hack me in the neck (google JV username above) I wasn't convinced about the red card either:

denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the players goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick

Hmm. After several watches think in the end it is the right decision. Just to the right of centre at the top of the box, maybe not the last man, but Arhie could have had a clear goalscoring opportunity if not impeded.

Melbourne must be absolutely tearing themselves apart. Ernie surely would have done something with all this talent. Madness.

It takes an absolutely rubbish coach to make Ian Ferguson look like a tactical genius.

Forget the red, the penalty that we got has to be the worst refereeing decision in A League history! And then to not send the bloke off? WTF?

Have never been more ashamed of a goal. Thank God we didn't win, is all I can say.

Beath has to be dropped for this week. Not even a close call and he got it awfully wrong and then to top it off handed out the wrong card

He isn't listed as reffing this weekend.
