Australia completely dominated territory and possession how the hell they didn't win by 5 I'll never know. I guess it'll be a complete different story come WC time with Kewell, Cahill etc.

Final 1-0.  Off to top myself.  Awful to watch, wish i'd stopped.

20,422 crowd figure.

For info, Melbourne pulled 20,595 against Oman last October.

I saw a shot of Durante at the end of the game that suggested he was on the bench (and commentators said how much would a couple of the uncapped players on the bench e.g. Durante like to come on). No sign of McKain though.

McKain was in the general vicinity as well.

McKain and Dura seemed to be on the bench.
It seems that Aus had a bench of 13 and Indo, 8. According to the Live scoring from last night on the FFA site.

Did anyone think to look at that?

AFC regulations son. If a player is given (say) No 101 in the first AFC qualifier, then he has to stick with that number through the rest of the qualifiying campaign. As the Yobboroo's have 2 squads (of sorts) then the numbering can be silly. But yes, why it's in the 100's is staggering. But the AFC say that if you use that number once, then that player has to stick to that number.Has been raised by Simon H and Robbie S a few times now.

Really?

Hehe, it would be funny if someone wears 2010 as a number then they have to wear that number in the campaign just to efff off the AFC regulation.

If the FFA wanted to try it, but yeah, the AFC said that, from the first qualifying game, if a player is given a certain number, they had to stick to it.

Why the FFA chose to give players numbers such as 121 is still beyond us though. Use 20's, 30's and 40's if need be, but not 1000's.
