Who do you think will start in goal ? Galekovic or Vukovic ? As surely Velaphi won't start... I'm gonna go with Vukovic just.

Galekovic seems to have the running for the spot between the sticks.

Presume iraqgoals.net will have it. It is not listed yet but they have other Asian Cup qualifiers listed.

Managed to watch the second half in Arabic (no thanks to AFC.TV, what the hell am I paying a subscription for?).

Awful performance by the Socceroos.Lots of long balls which the Kuwaiti defence had no problem with.  Heffernan and Thompson were crap but Kemp the worst of all - totally out of his depth.

There was one comical moment where Thompson had beaten his defender and only had to make a simple cross, instead he swung at thin air, totally missing the ball leaving it to run out of play.

Galekovic saved them on the 81st minute, will need to watch highlights to see if either of Kuwaits goals were his fault (second one seemed to be Kemp losing his man).

Djite, who should be ahead of Thompson was subbed on after 92mins and 40 seconds. What was that all about Pim?

They really could have used Josh Kennedy and Mark Milligan, who should both be available, and a big thumbs down to Gold Coast United for the Culina injury that isn't.

Top two qualify.  Looking a bit dodgy for aussie now, but their final game is at home to Indonesia.

March 3.  They only need a  draw to go through.

Seems along way from looking dodgy for them then. Would be surprised if they cant beat Indonesia at home or at least draw. Although of course stranger things have happened!

Wasn't the worst performance either. Given that the Aussies were away from home, the pitch was woeful and it wasn't the Aussies first team they did OK. After the Aussies scored the first 2 goasl the Kuwaiti coach subbed on a gun striker who played a part in their 2 goals scored before half time.

Australia only needs a win or draw against Indonesia in March. If they can't do that they they don't deserve to go to the Asian Cup.

there is an issue though, beyond what australia has in their top 13 or 14 players, many of whom are nearing retirement, the cupboard is very bare.

True, and they need the 2011 Asian Cup to blood players for 2014.
