Wasn't sure where to put this. Can be moved if mods want.

Qantas Socceroos Head Coach Pim Verbeek has selected a 24-player squad for the upcoming international friendly match against the Korea Republic in Seoul on Saturday 5 September 2009.

Michael Beauchamp, Jason Culina, Vincenzo Grella, Josh Kennedy, Mark Milligan, Michael Petkovic and Shane Stefanutto return to the Qantas Socceroos squad having missed selection for the recent international friendly against the Republic of Ireland in Limerick earlier this month.

So just the two from the HAL, still no McKain
You know we belong together...

Not surprised Asian based players are named for this one, i.e. Kennedy and Milligan, surprised second choice European based players are named e.g. Invincibile and Ruka, but perhaps they will be dropped later. Pim seems happy to keep clubs happy by not flying players across the world for these friendlies.

Not sure what he sees in Stefanutto (who has come back from Norway, not exactly a high standard), and surprised he has omitted Sterjovski.

McKain's best chance is for Asian Cup qualifiers that don't fall on FIFA dates.
