Beckham possibly coming to the A-League

Heart need the media hype it would give, but Adelaide was talking about marquee players recently.  If it happens, it will cost a lot of someone's money.

Personally dont think need him on the field. Already have 5 quality CM's. 

Actually think the two clubs that he would work on the field would be Jets or Perth.

Jets lack a wee bit of quality in the middle of the park.

Perth would look awesome if they dropped McGarry and pushed Miller further forward in behind Smeltzy. Perth makes the most sense from an on field perspective.

Have a feeling he would have a similar contribution to Elliot for the nix. Not here long enough to work and not exactly fitting in with our playing system

 What I've seen on this, sounds like WSW is the front runner for Becks. Can they add more foreign players? Probably a silly question

 He's the creativity we need in midfield at the moment. Wellnix need to put hands in pockets for once. If they did that then numbers through the gates would definately increase also.

Anyone else get the feeling the FFA has secured the contract for beckham,and are now shopping him out to the A league clubs?

It would be very funny if we did get him.  We could invite John Key to come to a game.

I raised this question on Twitter before going to work, but what is the FFA's role in this?

Are they laying the ground work, finding out the costs etc and passing it onto the clubs for them to decide if they want to approach Beckham's agents?

Or are the FFA looking at arranging the whole thing, then planning on auctioning off the 10 game guest stint to the clubs?

Maybe 5 clubs could get him for 2 games each?
