I would. He used to be with us, he isn't anymore, he's a reject.

Gold Coast will still get a smaller crowd than today at their next home match.

Of course they will - at least half the crowd are Brisbane fans. It's a bit sad when the away supporters outnumber the home .

Not a bad goal, 1-0 to Perth.

Mean freekick. God I wish we still had Smeltzie I can't help but love him.

That wasn't a penalty - should've been free kick. The contact was originally outside the box. Mind you, considering the stupid wall that Newcastle put up for Perths previous goal, keeper might have had more chance saving a penalty!

Newcastly trying to play a fast passing game, with a lot of one touch balls / one twos. Haven't been able to pull it off at all though, and it's just lead to giving the ball away cheaply.

Can anyone tell me what the Perth fans chant whenever there's an opposition goal kick...????

No because it will encourage people to do it when we're trying to stop even the most basic version of it.

Don't know if anyone mentioned the fact that all GCU goals were scored by old phoenix players.

What was that about, the Gold Coast Brisbane game sent me to sleep.
It was like watching a Knights game with soft goals included.
At least Perth showed some quality.
Did you see that free kick just right of the box, stayed on the ground the whole way, excellent goal first goal.

Three for me, and two for them.

True, except the keeper decided to stand behind the wall rather than covering the open side of the goal for some reason.
If he was where he should have been it would have been a simple long barrier pick up (though to be fair he probably wouldn't have hit it like that if that was the case.

SUper save there by Young... off Sterjovski as well so that cheers me even more.

That was all Sterjovski's fault.  What a dumbarse.  Keep it down and he'd have been nearly guaranteed the opening goal.

You call that 'excellent'? No idea what the goalie/wall were doing. Both on the same side and no one protecting the left side of the goal.
