If people are going to start knocking lawn bowls this thread is going to turn into a blistering argument.

I bet you Auckland Bowls paid big bucks to have bowls on 7pm at night 6 nights in a row on Sky Sport 2. Girl from my club in Mt Vic was on last night! Guy from Johnsonville on tonight.

And yea, the bowls tournament was over a week ago, so I share the disappointment as a football fan, and sports fan, for replays to take precedence over live events.

From a week ago? That is even worse.

36 degrees at the moment. Going to be some pretty tired boys today.

Too easy for Ibini

Well taken though. He needs a confidence boast. Has been poor so far this season.

Murdocca equalises with a strike from outside the box.

Mad as a meat axe that Berisha.

Berisha should be off after that, pretty sure there was a head butt in there.

Pretty sure he has only ever scored a couple of times before.

McBreen was doing a bit of a butt as well.

Didn't see much of a headbutt. Mariners players pushed him more than he pushed them - but he did shout a lot at them - though that's not usually a cardable offence.

I think you have been dulled by the violence involved in the cut throat world of lawn bowls.

Normally any movement of the head towards another player gets pinged, and Berisha did thrust forward a little. Will be interesting to see if the MRP can look at it, or will do anything about it.

Brisbane should be 3/4 up as they have played CCM off the park, but I guess you need to score to get the points.

Will be an interesting second half.

He was in the referees arm at the time with the linesman right there. I'm sure if there was much in it they would have got him for it. I think he made a head movement without touching the other guy.

But yea, if he wants to carry on like that then he would be better suited on a bowls green.

Henrique off at HT, Nichols on. He has been pretty poor this season, hope he doesn't find form today

Now that's the McBreen I remember.

Rogic makes it 2-1.

Bogic been best player - gets a tap in goal. Well kept in by McGlinchey for the assist.

Bogic? that Rogic & Bojic's love child? Hope CCM can hold this.

I'm half asleep - this second half has been a drag.

Joked on twitter that it was a brave move by Rado to play with 10 men, seems I was pretty much spot on. Apart from the yellow, can't recall him doing much. He didn't get his move overseas in the off season, and won't if he keeps playing like that.

Well, it's early days, but they have been rather garbage for a bit now. Not close to the team they have been the last 2 seasons.
