Hard to believe how rubbish GCU has been against the Jets and now CCM - not to mention the first half against Perth last week. They have completely lost their aura of invincibilty.

mariners were good. gcu a bit of a rabble. not sure if theyve got any depth. spent their salary cap on 11 players. mcglinchey had a really good game. defended well, made tackles, covered a lot of ground and was also v handy on the ball, sprayed it around and set up last goal.
it is a shame we play mcglinchey out on the right for the AWs (or did the other day v Jordan). he is not a wide man. he is best in the middle i think.

jd - yes, on reflection thats right. lots of midfielders and attacking options but scant at back. rees is middling at best, i think traore is over-rated as is van den brink. back up goalie had a shocker. players linke fitzsimmons, osman not much either.
