The result from tonight's game is very important from the Phoenix's perspective. We can possibly jump either one of these teams but I don't know what i want from it?
Assuming we can pull three tomorrow:
Queensland win so we can chase Mariners?
Draw so we are right in the thick of it?
CCM win so we can jump QR and hope they lose against Adelaide?

I gueessss a draw would be ideal so we could still overtake either one. But I'd also be happy with tonight being the start of either team's massive downfall.

We want queensland to win. They have a much easier run in so we want to chase the mariners. If we win our game in hand at sydney tomoro we are equal with CCM, them ahead on goals. we both play melbourne away and adelaide at home fpor last two games, where we would need to match one and better the other result. Pretty good first half imo end to end action all half.
Do you think possibly a draw is better because being the A-League either could slip up. Being an Arsenal fan this season you learn you cant expect to beat anyone, neither can Queensland.

Spot on. He's the best player out there by miles. Looks like setting something up every time he gets the ball. Heffernan is really struggling to contain him.

1 clear chance from each team wasted, couldve been 2-2
I was trying not to be too harsh. Hopefully they can carry on wasting chances in the rest of their games.

We will if we make it to the playoffs, but agree. Queensland in particular are looking so dangerous

Definitely. I reckon Queensland is the best side in the A-League at the moment (even if it hurts to say it). They keep possession better than anybody else and generally dominate matches, even if they don't always come away with a win.
Based on recent A League games, Moss and Paston look pretty good.
This match has been played at a pretty decent pace so far. Gotta be some tired legs out there...

Stupid comment I would rather have both of them then Melbourne and Adelaide and then at least our playoff hopes are in our own hands instead of hoping for certain results from other games.
