Looks like Tony Popovic has retired as of immediately. FourFourTwo mentions that Kosmina was annoyed that he declared himself fit for last weeks Nix game, when he clearly wasn't.

Used to watch him when he played for Syd Utd back in the days, i never really rated his as a player so his departure wont be hard felt to anyone imo.

Craig Moore diagnosed with cancer

November 12, 2008
AUSTRALIA veteran and Queensland captain Craig Moore has been forced out of the Socceroos World Cup qualifier in Bahrain after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer.

The 32-year-old was diagnosed last Thursday and underwent the procedure on the Gold Coast on Tuesday.

Moore, who returned from international retirement for the Socceroos' 2010 World Cup qualification campaign, is now under the care of a urologist who told the player that the "outlook is good".

The tough defender has also been advised to rest for the next fortnight.

Jesus, I really don't like Craig Moore, but testicular cancer is a tough thing to go through! Hope he will recover. 32 is still very young to get that kind of cancer, poor him.
However, the fact that the urologist advised him to ONLY rest for a couple of weeks suggests that the situation is under control.

Actually young men between 20 and 34 have a higher risk of contracting this cancer. Almost 100% treatable if caught on time.  Get your nuts out for the doc

Now, you just had to make me look bad didn't you?! Nah I think you're right. I had (but hate to admit it) a prostate exam last year and f**k did it hurt. Plus the doc wasn't exactly "gentle" about it..

I wasn't expecting him to buy me dinner afterwards but at least use a bit of "tact"..
