"Drank" Farina

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Has't got a leg to stand on IMO.

I have read that he claims that he was drank the night before and thought to have sleep it off (dumb but plausible argument) and it was never his intention to drive while drunk. With the club not taking the usual procedures and protocols, I can actually see him winning the case. No warning no direction no chance to have an appeal or have a defence. The employment court will have a good chance to decide on his behalf unless it "specifically" states in his contract, that such act is immediate termination, which I understand that it does not.

Anyway anyone wants Frank Farina to take Auckland City FC to O-league and Club World Cup?? Ain't Auckland still open for a coach to take over? AllWhitebelievr2009-10-16 00:50:28

I feel a bit sorry for him.
If the story AWB quotes is true, then he hasn't really done anything wrong.

Plus he's one of the characters of the league, so we'll all be poorer without him.

That said, if Roar do have to get a new coach, I hope it means they play a cleaner brand of football.

They aren't that dirty as a team, they just have some cocks.  Sure they kicked the crap out of Kruse but I'd have kicked him harder.  Objectionable scum..

I haven't forgotten what they did to Felipe. Generally agree with you tho'. (Especially about Kruse)

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Don't get me wrong, as a collection of players there is no side I dislike more (although Perth are having a lash).  I just don't think it's a 'club culture'.
