Should've been 3. Smart ball in there from Akoto - he looks a good signing for Fury. Touch of the Drogbas about him attitude-wise though.

Thats a shocker of a call re: that being a corner... wasn't completely over the line

Nice shot.
That mixes it up a bit.

f**ks sake. Akoto's been good all night but he was just jogging and watching Sterjovski run into space.

Fury should've shut this game down and taken the point.

That was a fantastic match to watch for a neutral.

That game starts season 6 of the HAL for me.

Velaphi = the most overrated keeper in the league.

Velaphi is the biggest flapper

Great game, great crowd - hopefully they come back even though they fell to a Grossman special.

Payne is a cheating bastard but you have to admit he's a bloody good player - especially for his age. Already better than the other little bastard Kruse.

Was old season vets v young up and comers. Good to watch. David Williams has sh*tloads of promise - just needs the consistancy.

Was nice to see Straka going nuts near the end as well - I liked his jacket.

Was a great game.
Fury's youth and pace squared off against Perth's experience and guile.

Fury were keen and played like they had nothing to lose; maybe Perth were weighed down by the favourites tag.
Some dirty tackling here and there ...

Perth really missed Andy Todd in defence.

Ripping game, can't believe I went for a piss and missed the goal of the round!

Can't believe I watched Adelaide Newcastle and then went to bed before Perth Fury game.

Watched the 2nd half when I came home last night at 1am. It was good stuff to be fair, much better than that Heart v CCM dirge on Thursday night.

Good crowd in Perth and I like that stadium with the terracing behind the goal.

Cheers. Dodd, he around? Still injured?

Long term knee bork.  Not expected back this season.

Also was released at the end of last season

I enjoyed watching NQL games last year, seem to remember always plenty of goals (at both ends)

Where is Doddy this year?
Yes. Perth used to be my second team, until last season when they started winning and now the fury are my second team. I like exciting play which mostly ends in disaster!
