Agree Jeff. That's like a 'We are in a bit of a hole' signing.

I wonder how Nicky feels about the Phoenix now that he can't get a gig anywhere?

Program on ESPN Friday night at 11 pm on the football business in Australia.

Final episode of a series on football and business worldwide - looks to have some interesting interviewees.

Hersi to Sydney? Fox Sports linking him today. He seems to have been on the outer since coming out saying he wants a long term deal at WSW. Listed as injured but trained all week.

Everyone is linked to Sydney at the moment (including Nicky Ward 'ARF!)

The 3 points are suspended.... depending on future behaviour

Is there any chance that a Sydney FC or Melbourne heart fan could put on a WSW or Victory kit and go start shit at one of their games in order to get the points docked?

about 12 years ago · edited about 12 years ago · History

They Sydney derby has come at the wrong time for them. You just know that's gonna kick off and bang, good bye 3 points.

I wonder if Lyall will sit on his hands with his next media statement or actually condemn those twats

WSW and MVFC fans venting on twitter but have brought up a decent point. Sydney wasn't charged regarding the stabbing after the Big Blue earlier this season. Maybe there was different circumstances regarding the incident, I can't recall.

Was Gallop in charge then?

Yeah my only gripe with that article is where he said "the Phoenix, Western Sydney and Melbourne Heart have all been solid, if not exceptional franchises in terms of their structure and community support." - probably a fair call on us and Heart but WSW? Surely they are exceptional in terms of community support?

"

One online posting made by a loyal Wanderers fan summarised the role of both groups, saying: "Northgate is our firm and guys who like to get into a bit of a scrap with whoever is willing, and AMOK is our youth group with the same mentality."

An RBB spokesman insisted the issue was a misunderstanding, saying the term "Northgate" referred to the stadium entry point that its fans use when they attend club games.

The "Hooligans" moniker was a "joke", they said, and both the Northgate and the AMOK subgroups were simply "groups of friends"."

Anyone buy this?

My guess was that Danny Hay was simply referring to what he considered replacement clubs, and tarred us all with the same brush, so to speak. Probably not picked up by the sports subeditor 'cause these guys know sweet f-all about the A-League.

This guy is apparently going to sign for Sydney. Mates with Petkovic.

Guessing they will cancel Yau's loan.

His dad used to play for Dinamo in the 1980s. Was a great player, but major alco, died quite young if I remember correctly. Some legendary stories around him.
