Penalty saved by Bolton already! Poor penalty though, it's all on in Melbourne! patrick4782011-12-23 23:59:36

His goal celebrations annoy me but Thompson is in great form this season.

Lol, Covic credited with the assist on fantasy football, great distribution

Re Covic, shows the inconsistency in reffing that Bolton wasn't red-carded for what for me was a more clearcut foul than the one Covic was sent off for a few months back. Glad to see some leniency from Stebre; Ben Williams would've sent him immediatly.

Great finish from Thompson - plays better in midfield than at centre-back!

WTF was Worm do trying to upend him like that for the goal celebration too!?

Wow, was just about to say what an amazing long ball from Dugandzic for the first goal and the third brace of the round is scored.

Cracking game so far.

Plenty of goals this round, and probably more to come in the second-half.

Yes, the Jets were poor in the first half of our game but overall the standard of footy has been high tonight. I know these things are subjective and impossible to measure but it seems to me that the standard of football in the A League definitely has improved this season.

Absolutely, teams like the Roar are lifting other teams up to their level, increasing the overall level of the league. Great for everyone involved in the league

Well that may have been a handball but if so it makes up for the one given against Germano a few weeks ago that cost Heart a penalty and points.

We wanted, in NZ's best interests, for Marco to leave the Phoenix in order to better his football...I am still waiting to see the results.

Allsopp, Kewell, Thompson and Hernandez, yet only one goal. Love football.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

hey all of you get over it you cant deny it was the right decision for him at the time and you all have sour grapes and fancy shmancy punctuation and capital letters why can't you just be pleased for him because he is a kiwi and will all do us proud and will learn a lot from that really gorgeous footballer who played for the non racist club liverpool and of course the great training facilities and massive smiggle shops plus I would like to see if I can fill a whole page just like midfielder but without the reasoned arguments. Lol.

I am happy for those excellent training facilities he can take advantage of.

Exactly, which is why this is different to the way Kosta left. Marco had established himself as one of the best wingers in the A-League.

You can see the deficiencies in Marco's game becoming more obvious. The odd bit of clever footwork can't disguise that he's physically and mentally fragile. He's going to have to toughen up a lot if wants to make it at a high level.

Not often that Thompson and Hernandez end up on the losing side after playing so well. That free kick at the end was almost in the exact spot as one he scored against us once at EtiTard.

Adapted from the South Sydney Rabbitohs (NRL) I'm pretty sure.
