Looks like this one will be heavily affected by rain, a storm is due to hit right in the middle of this one. Could see a record low crowd for the A-League, apparently there is about 150 people in Skilled Park at the moment, including players and admin staff. Oh dear.

Again, nelliek has a stream. http://www.justin.tv/nelliek9_patrick4782011-12-11 18:37:22

Wasn't a game abandoned at Skilled last year? Rained cats and dogs, got called off in the first half from memory.

Yep called off at about the 30th minute. Seems like the rain has eased off so hopefully we can get a full game here today, especially since the drainage isn't the greatest.

Wonder what odds the TAB would give for 6/7 cards.

Would quite like to see GCU get something out of this game.

Even better it was a free ticket day courtesy of Clive Palmer so there were actually people there...

I am watching the game on nelliek with mute and listening to Eric Prydz "Call on me".

It is much better than listening to harper.

Have now moved on to DJ Sammy (boys of summer) and vengaboys (boom boom boom).

The bouncy music is a nice fit for the lols on the pitch.

It was a contest for the ball.
Pavs was from behind, the ball well gone, Pavs worse

If any tackle is going to break a leg it's Brown's one, flying in studs up like that. Pav's was just a glorified trip. Anyway, all done and dusted.

See what you mean there. Neither were going to pull out were they, so it was full on, could have done some damage

Not sure how many card today as I gave up after 7. Would take him a week to write his reports.Have seen him worse but he gave 2 corners to Sydney in the last 10 mins which were obvious goal kicks and could have changed the result.

I wouldn't say there was a great deal of intent with the Sydney hand ball.

Cole fined by the club for diving.

http://www.ggarmy.com/News/Latest-News/Sydney-fine-Cole-for-dive

I acknowledge that we have a policy of no diving and we all support the clubs stance on this matter. I knew I did the wrong thing as soon as I hit the ground so I got up without asking for a penalty and ran straight back into position. I was expecting to be fouled when he came across but after going to the ground I realised straight away he had not fouled me.

Sydney FC CEO Dirk Melton backed Coles honesty and integrity and re-stated the club's desire to uphold its No Diving Policy.

Honesty - good. But do you not see something inherently wrong with his statement?
