I feel this game is going to heavily determine what we're going to need from the Nix over their next 3 games...

* If the Heart draw or lose, we only need one win to finish ahead of them, regardless of their result with Sydney next week.

* BUT if the Heart win tonight and then again next week against Sydney then we're going to be needing points on the road, at least a draw to finish level and hope for better GD.

Cant wait. SS1 10pm

Is the game going to be played? It says there is a weather delay?

I doubt the game will go ahead tonight.
Pitch under water and still raining.

What difference would that have made?

The only day they can really replay this one is tomorrow...CCM have games on Wednesday and next Sunday.  Makes sense also with both teams already in Melbourne of course.

I'd say it'll be 5pm kickoff in Melbourne (7pm here) to lead into the Phoenix v Adelaide game.

They would have had to close it yesterday.

Rebels play at AAMI tomorrow they said, so it would be sunday or at Olympic Park if it was to be played tomorrow.

Was absolutely pissing down - garage nearly flooded. Has stopped now but more on the way.

Kinda funny how every time I go to Etihad they needlessly close the roof when it's sunny and the one game it would actually be useful they are at AAMIvaleo2011-02-04 22:43:22

Latest is that a decision will be made at 8.50 EST and kick off no later that 9pm. If the game is prosponed it will be played on Sunday.

Yeah astonishingly good drainage, the only bad thing is that while waiting for this game to start I've been watching Bad Boys on Sky Greats (my family got randomly selected for a free trial of all the movie channels, score!) and have become slightly invested in the story.

sweet, if its 0-0 at half time by the time this stormy front rolls in, the result will stand if abandoned, and that will be the Heart affectively out of play off contention.
