Linos flag shit all the time. Refs overrule linos all the time. You could tell the ref knew he was onside - he apologised for his shit call! The lino's are almost as bad as OFC officials, so the ref's gotta overrule them occasionally.

So you expect the ref to make a judgement on whether each of the three players were offside when he's looking at it from straight on, rather than side on?  I'm sorry, but he's gotta go on the advice on this lino.

REFEREE Ben Williams and at least one of his assistants could be dumped this week after their boss admitted they had made critical mistakes during Central Coast's controversial 2-1 loss to Newcastle on Saturday.

While newly appointed Football Federation Australia director of referees Ben Wilson refused to be drawn on the immediate future of the match officials, he told The Australian there was no escaping the fact they had got at least three of four contentious rulings wrong during the spiteful F3 Derby.

Williams was crapping himself, was worried it was going to turn into an all in brawl. Should the coaches get a sanction or the team get a fine if there is more than a certain amount of yellows in a game? Newcastle looking like a clear case here...

I felt angry that the refereeing was so terrible, and I didn't even care who won. Imagine what the CCM supporters would have been feeling!
