The beauty of this match is that one or the other will exit the finals race regardless of the result. The other will be our only remaining threat.
Cant wait. Bring it on.

Did his red card from the victory game get revoked considering it just says 'Out' rather than 'unavailable'? It should have been in my opinion, Angulo was writhing on the pitch from a tap from Fiorentini when he wasn't even looking at him!

Outcome of independent Match Review Panel
Thursday, 3 February 2011
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Barry Such (Chair), Simon Micallef and Alan Davidson - convened to consider the following incidents from Week 25 of the Hyundai A-League:
The incident involving Marcello Fiorentini (Newcastle United Jets) in or around the 62nd minute of Newcastle United Jets match against Melbourne Victory on Wednesday night. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the player was issued with a direct red card. In reviewing the incident, the MRP found that Marcello Fiorentini committed the offence of "Assault on a Player (e.g. violent conduct when not challenging for the ball)" against Marvin Angulo and proposed a sanction of two (2) matches. This is the minimum sanction for such an offence. The player has until 12:00 noon (AEDT) tomorrow to accept the proposed sanction or refer the matter to a hearing by the FFA Disciplinary Committee.

What we don't want is the Jets to win this, as we will be taking a weakened side to Sydney on Wednesday. If we were then to lose, we might be in a spot of bother.
My gut feeling is that we will keep 6th regardless.
