The keeper was right in front of him and he only had about a metre to aim at above his head. Getting your leg around it so it gets over the keeper at that close a range isn't easy at all. Coupled with the fact he is a CB, it was a bloody good finish

but his momentum got his leg around it, and he did not have to direct it past the keeper, he just had to hit it and it probs would have gone in.
