Mark Judan: Family Time
I thought he was just a bit of a dickhead, but after reading this I think he might be sociopathic.
I could definitely go for another mid-season form slump in Western Sydney, though you'd almost prefer he was the one delivering it.
Wunderbar, please walk off.
Wanderers need someone who unites not divides
Marko Rudan has likened his battle with Australia's football "establishment" to that of Ange Postecoglou, as the Western Sydney Wanderers boss hinted he may be forced to walk away from the A-League Men.https://t.co/QkmWaNZxZU

Probably need to look higher up, it's not only Rudan within that organisation that is rocking the boat.

No, please, stop, don’t…
. @FootballAUS has announced that Marko Rudan has been sanctioned for breaching the National Code of Conduct and Ethics.

The Wanderers coach has been suspended for three games, with one of those match bans suspended until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Studs into players legs is straight red every time, except when it isn't like a few that we took into the legs this season.
It's just all over the place.

I read a stat that said that last year a third of match officials in Australia walked away from the game because of stress. No wonder. Rudan isn't a warrior for justice, he's just a massive, self serving tool.
Last I heard, and this was a few hours ago now, was that Marko Rudan and the WSW squad were flying straight from Melbourne to Perth for their next game as planned. Things can change, obviously, but no sign of immediate action just yet.

A few journos probing for news about whether Rudan is gonna be sacked. As of this stage, he is still the WSW manager.
Poor not going to the presser after the 7-0 loss.

Thomas then rightly so defends himself by saying “I was representing my country” and they go back and forth with each other arguing.
it gets heated and then Rudan went to shake Thomas’s hand after all that and Thomas slapps it and walks out.
If true, he's lost the dressing room with those actions. The guy is losing the plot in a big way...
Just get the feeling there's going to be an announcement out of the Wanderers camp any day now...

Wow. Just catching up... but if hes said that he's goneburgers.
Youth walking out, Rudan and Thomas punching on, Rudan not in sheds post game for many weeks, Marcelo not happy. We know the issues at the club, time to make a change.#WSW #RudanOut

Just found this one too.
Marcelo not being happy should set off transfer alerts everywhere. Guys a Rolls Royce of a CB, even going on 37 years of age.
would be absolutely hilarious if there's some sort of good behaviour clause in his contract
OMG ANOTHER BURNER ACCOUNT?! pic.twitter.com/Fn9fLBs9LE

looks like he's in trouble with the league as well.
Not turning up to a presser probably not enough to get booted out altogether though.
Shame because after he bought the YF beers and after seeing some of the ref decisions against him, I was starting to re-think my position on him.
But when you factor in his no show, the Lawrence Thomas situation, the burner account on X....it's the same old Marc Rudan.
An honourable person would just have the guts to resign at this stage and miss out on some $.
Let's be honest, he was a pro for many years, it's not like leaving a job in the public service where you stay there for life....coaches come and go, there will be another gig waiting for him somewhere.
But I reckon he just wants WSW to tell him he needs to go and negotiate a golden handshake.
Some players don’t celebrate scoring against their old club.

This is the way that it'll go with Talay at Sydney as well. Mark my words. These guys are peas from a pod.
Hey Australia, here’s this week’s A-League cartoon for @GdnAusSport

Sad news for his family and obs his mum, but very convienient given WSW would have been desperate to work out how they could exit him cheaply. First big win for the club this season.
Seems to self sabotage a lot. Really a book in depth about him would be an interesting read. He’s the first guy I’ve seen that made me understand the possibility of cult leaders- he got our football going, he had a power of personality that drove the club, a lot of people bought in and even after he began to lose support stick by him, but also seems to do weird things and require a bit of a bunker mentality which is not a sustainable long term strategy. But was capable of making plays like putting beers on the table for the Nix.
Daddy making up? A genuine apology for stealing players and sneaking around on our dime (and for all our up in arms we needed Dura out to refresh, but how was tricky)? An attempt to cool the rivalry to take the wind out of the crowd at the game?
Then there’s things like that club he joined overseas at some part of his playing career where the owner was bizarre.
You feel though you’d never get the full or objective story about him. Especially about the things we talk about carefully. There’s something darker and obsessive at times and a difficultly in accepting responsibility.
And his football hasn’t been quite enough to save him, in the way some people forgive or turn a blind eye to Brian Clough a lot because of who he was.
