I reckon if Miller did Blindside Kruse he should be getting [a medal] and perhaps a slightly heavier sentence, but I can do with 2 games out.

Miller deserves more than two weeks. I was thinking four would be adequate. As for Twatto - so he gave the crowd the bird, so what - one week suits the crime - but punching someone, that's a no-no.

maybe 1 week suspension is ok then, but then it doesn't add up if you look at Moss getting 4 for nothing!!
and as for Miller I have such mixed feelings:
as a lover of the game, i also thought that 2 weeks only for blindsiding someone is a joke. It sends the wrong message to EVERYONE involved, children, professionals, and us all who play the game at different levels every saturday.
On the other hand, could the FFA have bent the rules cause Kruse was involved too? Maybe some sort of "provocation" excuse like in the gay-murders on the news??? :D

I reckon if Miller appealed, saying he thought Kruse was a linesman, he'd probably get away with it.

The only footage was from a very wide shot and you can't really see anything but a tiny blur as Miller performed an adroit facial massage. A head butt would've been better, as well as more visible but I suppose we have to be thankful for what we got. Maybe the lack of a close up saved Miller from a longer suspension.
In any case Brisbane would be stupid to appeal because with all the subsequent publicity about this and Brisbane's ridiculously poor disciplinary record Miller would probably end up getting suspended for longer anyway.
