A very interesting story in today's Age ... not sure if this is the best forum for it but here goes ...

At the Victory Members' forum recently, Geoff Lord mentioned that the club will play half its games next season at Etihad and half at the Bubbledome/Wankdorf/New Stadium.

The crowd boo-ed this decision (meaning we want out of Etihad).

Will be interesting to see Etihad tomorrow night though with the seats pushed in (I saw it at the Oman game but was up on Level 3).

If all goes well with the seats in tomorrow, the fans will want to stay at Etihad. Interesting times ahead.

The reconfigured Eithad on Saturday was great, close in, the joint went off. If you blokes are popping over for the Jan 26 game, maybe try to work with the MVFC crew (or email Eithad/MVFC yourselves) to get the seats in. What you lot have seen at Etihad to date doesn't do it justice until your closed in.

NOTE: The last time we had such a good atmosphere (i.e. all 4 sides of the ground signing to each other) was ironically against NZ Knights at Olympic Park in December 2006. The new ground we're building will be just as 'intimate'.

Nah, I'll still go, I know stadium management have been a bit knarky at times, if the seats are in, it's worth it.

Even if the seats aren't in, I'll go.
