10pm kick-off

Both sides on 26 points from 16 games.

Tiatto and Packer in for Queensland in place of Grossman and Minniecon; Brebner in for Berger for Melbourne.

Queensland are 5 games unbeaten; Melbourne had lost three on the bounce before their win over Sydney last weekend.

Queensland have won 3 out of 5 games in Melbourne.

The pitch - makes the SFS playing surface (for the Syd-Perth fixture) look like Augusta National...

Commentators just referred to an uneven/bumpy strip about 6m wide across halfway.

I think more accurate dimensions of that uneven patch of turf might be closer to 110m x 50m

...another example of Kruse syndrome... good couple of early games, media fapping, and then he disappears for the rest of the season.

I'd swear I saw a Melbourne hand ball in their own penalty box at roughly 18 mins.

"We've got the best pitch in the league"

"It's a pudding of a pitch" - now that's commentating

Matt Mckay looks like Ian Hogg. Can someone punch him?

1-0 Melbin. Allsopp taps in Archie's cross. One hour gone.

Tiatto gets subbed off. Gives the Melbourne fans a two-fingered salute as they boo him off.

2-1 Moore nods in a corner.

Tommy Oar is on. 15 mins to go.

Like Allsopp it will be ignored.

The judiciary are a complete joke.

Archie runs around half the defence and hits the frame.  Numpty.

Apart from when he referees the Phoenix, is Peter O'Leary the best referee in the A-League currently ?

Good game by the ref, but some shocking throw-in calls by the linesmen near the end.

Peter would be the best in this part of the world currently in my opinion.

Archie was a bit stiff with a couple of early offside calls imo, and if the FFA, MVFC and Amnesty International don't complain to Telstra Dome about their joke of a pitch I'll be very surprised.

Not like it was subtle either, would be handy to have him suspended for a few games.
