Kick-off 9pm NZT @ Telstra Dome.

Melbourne have lost their last three; Sydney have won only one of their last seven and have just one point from their last five matches.

John Aloisi dropped to the bench for Sydney after last weekend's appalling performance.

Ernie talking about playing all his attackers and bugger the defence.  Could be a cracker.

f**k me.  Sydney 2-0 in  three minutes.

Flares have put a pall of smoke over the ground and Gan and Cole have scored two crackers.

Deliberate from Allsop. Tempting to smack Kosmina though
Permalink Permalink

Allsopp deliberately drops a shoulder in to Kosmina as a ball goes out.

He could easily have stopped or swerved.  He should be gone for a couple of weeks for that sh*t.

For hitting Kosmina? It had some humour about it in slo-mo

Yes.  It's the sort of crap that causes flare-ups and sets a bad example.

He could have avoided that and deliberately chose not to.  If he did it to another player he'd be suspended, doing it to someone not in the field of play should be a banning. Hard News2008-12-27 21:18:12

13 Mins - 2-1.  Thompson, quickly taken free kick by Hernandez finds ARchie running away from the defenders.  Nice finish.

Come on Archie! I'm going to have to try and find a radio link at the very least I think.

Justifying an incident like the Allsopp vs Kosmina based on who was hit is absolute rubbish.  AN exqample should be made for an action like that even if it was on Tiatto.

If you allow it there and it's done to Ricki next week the precedent is set and it's let go.  Saying 'it's okay it was Kosmina' is arse.

Joking - a ban deserved, it was just great he hit Kosmina and no one else.

Do Aussies use their stadium pitches as carparks during the week?

Great game, best so far this weekend and there's been a few.

2-1 halftime. Cracking game so far. All three goals excellent.
Just saw the replay of Allsopp-Kosmina. I reckon Allsopp will be saved from a ban because of the shoulder barge he recieved in the lead up. His (lack of) reaction gives it away though. As for that sort of stuff starting flare-ups, don't we watch Melbourne v Sydney for the fights as much as the football?

Handbags at the end of the F3 derby as well, all part of it no? That's what we need if we want a real rivalry haha.
