Jets v Fury.

1-0 to Jets. Tadrosse, standing on the line, manages to mis-hit it, handle it, then score an own goal. Priceless.

2-0. More comedy gold - Song smashes in the rebound after goal line scramble.

Daal gets one back for Fury just before HT. Good lead up work from Brockie.

Pretty scrappy goals

Brockie is playing pretty well

If the Jets win this, it'll be four straight wins...no-one else has done that this season....and they will be THIRD.

Not bad for a team who were dreadful against the Phoenix both home and away last month.

2-2. Good. Now stay like that.

Didn't Wheelhouse just dump both knees in to a player on the ground ?

I thought I saw that as well - although precious little in the way of replays. What's the betting there is no citing and that is the last we hear of it. There was a real juicy two footer or two in last night's game as well. Call me paranoid (or something), but with all the furore over Sigmund & Muscat (our one), it just doesn't seem fair. There have been instances of violence with intent in each of the last two games I've watched that have gone unpunished.

ooooo, 2-2. missed it tapping away feeling all self-righteous.

I know, I know, its serious!

After party all the time did his impression of someone in Cool Runnings on Friday night not sure we should speak.

Another AWFUL offside decision in a weekend of them.

Fair point, but officiating consistency / quality a real problem. Witness offside decisions.

How on earth can Cockerill blame Brockie for that miss ?  He's got Hyphen in front of him and no sight on goal so he passes it to Fowler who bollockses it and Cockerill blames Brockie ?

FFS.

Now Fowler pulling the strings when Brockie ran and directed all of that.  Assume Cockerill likes 'perennial Premier League strugglers' Liverpool.

Brockie has covered a massive amount of territory. He's there on almost every attack and regularly to be seen defending on the edge of the Fury penalty area. His best game so far.

I notice Brockie is a bit of an easy target for the Fox commentators. They pick at him all the time. Slater pissed me off a few weeks back with his remarks about Brockie's time at Sydney being the low point of his career, before adding nastily "Well, Brockie will be hoping that was the low point".
Prick.

This game's following the Brisbane v CCM script.

Wow ! That was very similar score wise to when we played them in Round 1. Man we could do with a Jets like run.

We had an entire midfield and forward line that couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo on Friday night, and you're worrying about the officiating!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

I'm no great Gold Coast fan, but I'd love them to win by 6 or 7 and Burns, Sikora and Sterjovski all sent off for being cocks.

Not related to Friday night. I slept through most of that.

That goal takes Smeltz to second equal on the A-League all time scoring list, equal with Danny Allsopp and 10 behind Archie Thompson. Though Smeltz has played almost half as many games.

Yellow number 10 for Pantelidis, wow that's quite a few. In only 16 games.

Damnit, no Mel (  ) at halftime.

Smeltz's goal was a goodie.  How many for the season?  13?  I want him to get golden boot but if he goes to Chine he'll need to get a few more ahead to see off Fowler and van Dijk.

15, Fowler on 9. Van Dijk has 10.

Culina with an amazing effort of the cross bar, Velaphi left it all alone. Halfway effort of the crossbar, sheesh that was close.

Culina.  Wow that was close.  It's not like Velaphi gave up as he was a foot infront of the crossbar when it hit.  Must have thought it was going over.

Hilarious.  All the players cussing is being picked up by the mic's.  Well more than usual anyway.

On the field for less than a minute Sterjovski gets a card. Knob.

One of the better games from Smeltz I think

Sterjovski made no attempt to go for the ball there - should've been second yellow and bye bye.
