I hate you because you are Melbourne. And you are blue and white. Which in my mind, rightly or wrongly, makes you inseperable from the bank robbing, match fixing, corrupt, organised-crime-backed, immoral, thuggish, assholes who were South Melbourne.

I hate you because you are arrogant, condescending, self important - "we have an aura about us - we're the best club in the league"... even when "we" are 8th.... and because your fans are unfriendly - which is in direct contrast to every other club in the league in my experience. I hate you because when you stop in the street in Melbourne dressed in a Phoenix shirt to say hello and engage in courteous friendly conversation with fellow football fans... if those fans are in Heart shirts, you'll be greeted warmly, and there will be smiles, and fellowship, but if those fans are wearing victory gear you'll get yelled at, and on 4 out of 7 occaisions, threatened.

I hate you because you are offensive, because you put yourselves apart, and because you get preferrential treatment because of your economic importance to the FFA. I hate you because you're our bogey team. I hate you because the content of the Victory forum is an embarrassment to the game - it is certainly not somewhere I'd encourage children to frequent.

I've never been to Melbourne, but I doubt that every single Victory supporter is as unfriendly as you say they are. I know at least 5 Victory fans who I quite enjoy having a chat to on twitter etc.
