He's a pretty smart player I suppose. He holds the ball up well, and gets good passes away. Has put through some dangerous diagonal balls in this game.
I think he did well for New Zealand against Wales before Phoenix was going. But yes, he has come into prominence a lot more cuz of Phoenix.
