As long as it is not for us..... 38 ffs has not played for 6 months and is trying to get back into shape! Brilliant in his time but that was best part of a decade ago!

Behave. He would be an asset for any A-League side. May be getting on but technically gifted and he would not of lost that overnight. Had a rough time at Villa but that should be overlooked.

The prospect of seeing him live is a dream come true.

He would still have the talent but not having played for so long would be a problem. It would take quite some time to get into shape, and by then the season would be almost over.

Agreed, it is more his lack of play that is a concern over his age. Look how much Kewell has struggled adjusting this year, and yes I know Kewell is not in the same league as Pires but just saying!

Do not want. Hes too old, and hes not big enough of a name to draw decent crowds. Its one thing to sign someone straight from the EPL while they actually still matter but f**k...
