I think it might be a 10.30pm kick-off NZT.

Fowler not starting....being "used sparingly" according to NQF coach Ferguson.

Jesus. It is 10:30.

Hoping for a 4-4 draw.  That'd be the best result for the Phoenix.

Im expecting a dull mid week game.

I don't see this one being dull. It is not as if it is Adelaide vs CCM...

Zullo at leftback for Roar tonight. Surprised me.

Oar is out still isn't he?
Is this Zullo's first start or was that the weekend?Stefan2009-12-16 22:19:55

Yeah he started against Adelaide on Saturday...before that, just three appearances off the bench.

He is quite handy actually.

Matches played so far: one.

Actually that one game was quite interesting. Fowler scored a good goal (past Reddy) then Fury had a man sent off in the first half (by Breeze - where is he these days?). I think it was van Dijk who scored a late equaliser with a fluke deflection.

For me any game involving Fury is usually pretty entertaining.

Whoops. Well.
The home games for NQF have not been my favorite.
and Queenslands stadium is a ghost town. Imagine the crowd size tonight!

No Midge for Roar this week. Means fewer laughs in prospect.

Sarota was rubbish too last week but he's got the gig tonight.

Bozza in the Commentary box. That may be my only entertainment

Bosnich not doing very well as commentator but I suppose this is his first one?

He has done quite a few.
Not as funny when he isn't off his face.

Round 19 is spread across five midweek games...

Tonight's game
Next Wednesday: SFC v CCM
Wednesday Jan 13 - GCU v Newcastle
Tuesday Jan 19 - Adelaide v Perth
Tuesday Jan 26 - Melbourne v Phoenix

Just something different I think....

Whats happening in the game.

Mums hogging the tv and not letting me check the score

It seems to have worked in Brisbane, commentators said a better crowd than in recent times for the Roar

That half seemed to take a lifetime.

The crowd looks pretty good. Im thinking around the 8k mark.

Mike Cockerill and Mark Bosnich having a lively discussion off air about the ref not stopping the game when Williams was being treated (I get the match feed continuously when Fox Sports are away to ads - can be fun).

Let's hope we don't look as listless as Fury when we turn out against Adelaide on Friday.
