The problems I see with Heart are:
Lack of Identity - Just being 'We are not Victory' is not enough. Melbourne doesn't have the 'two cities' divide like Sydney, so the new owners will have to find some sort of difference to sell the club on.
Training Facilities - They don't have a home base, they are training all over the place. Pretty much wherever is available. New owners have Storm links but the Storm share training facilities with the Victory.
Player recruitment - The domestic pool for players is rather small and the top A-League players don't come off contract very often. This is why you live or die by the quality of the imports you recruit. Add 3-4 quality imports into any side and you are instantly in top 6 contention. Heart's imports have been garbage the last few seasons. I'm pretty sure all 5 are off contract at the end of this season, the new owners cannot skimp on the imports they sign, they need quality to build around.
Heart are savable but the new owners have some work to do and will have to invest some cash into the club in the process.
