Half time 0-0 but Jets have been the better side.

Not the best display of footie tbh.

Jets home games are often ugly dogfights. To be fair that is a bloody awful pitch they play on, not conducive to quality football at all.

Jets all over Sydney. Sydney to sneak a 1-0 win. Rugby league played on pitch for the last few weeks hasn't helped.

Bugger, pretty poor marking

I had this feeling as well. Sydney 1-0 against the run of play.

Come on Jets, you useless sods. We don't want Sydney winning this.

I'll even cheer an equaliser from Nutcracker himself!

2-0 pen ADP, Sydney up to 3rd place at moment

Have to sneakily admire ADP winning that penalty. Was like taking candy from a baby.

Sydney play really shit football, I can not believe they have more points than us.

No doubt a pen, but he milked it. Class player.

It's been voted the worst pitch in the A League. Not hard to see why. Nice orange smoke bomb. Hope he wasn't shirtless when he set it off, he might get thrown out if he was.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Even if it is only provisional 3rd place for Sydney is ridiculous.

Fulltime, Sydney win. Sydney to play CCM next week, should be looking for 3 wins in a row. Newcastle have found there place on the table. Two pretty dire teams to watch

Next MV vs Reds

I thought Sydney played some decent stuff in the second half

Normo's coming home

Two pretty average sides, but we have to play them both away plus Heart and Adelaide, so it won't be an easy ride into the play offs.

Yep, not a easy task but if we are good enough then we will do it.

Good start for the Reds up 1-0 within 3mins

1-1 Reds trying to play out from the back and stuffed it up. Good finish.

Mckain out for Thursday. 5th yellow card

Damn, we almost had another classic Comedy Coe moment then.

How did Broxham not get a yellow for that studs up challenge? Was far worse that McKain's body block.

Was thinking the same thing. Broxham does seem to get away with quite a few fouls like that.

HT 2-1 Reds. Good game to watch. A bit scrappy in parts but some good goals. The Reds good for the 1st 5-10 mins and the last 5 mins otherwise Victory in control apart from a few moments.

Must say Bruce Djite is a much, much better player than he was 2 or 3 years ago. I remember him as a sulky crybaby when he was with Gold Coast. If things didn't go his way he'd just give up. Now he's toughened up, packed on the muscle, protects the ball and passes well. That was a nice bit of work to set up that goal.

Wasn't that the whole Gold Coast team including coach and owner?

Can't remember which season Djite played for them but unfortunately I do have a clear memory of him getting two against us in one game, and he still always seems to get on the scoresheet whenever he plays us. Shit players always score goals galore against us. See also: Jason Hoffman and of course David Williams.

Injured Paston in a game over there to I think. he does look a better player these days, holding the ball up and getting in the faces of the defenders..

Finkler good finish again. Good hustle from Victory.

Some quality fist pumping action from both coaches tonight. Archie's flag humping I could do without.
