Sorry  Tegal but the Roar are the best team.

Just what I was thinking. Remember quite a few howlers like that from his Jets days. How the hell ever got into the Socceroos I'll never know.

John Kosmina might be bonkers but he's got the best football brain of anybody on that Fox Sport team.

What's going on with Apiah-Kube? Saw more from him last season than I've ever seen from Taj Minniecon.

Missed the first 5 weeks with an injury.

WSW might feel a bit aggrieved at that result. They are a good side and a draw might have been a fairer result, although the last goal was a cracker.

FT 3-1 Deserved win for Roar with stunning goals from Franjic and Yeboah. Considering WSW were without 3 of their best attacking players it was a great effort by them to keep it close.

That last minute (reg time) goal from Yeboah for BR was pure joy to watch.

And his celebratory backward swan dive even better!

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

He could easily have dislocated vertebrae with that one. Top effort

1-0 Victory. I thought the goal was well offside.

It was almost brilliant but if I were Edwards I'd have a slight twinge of unease about Gallas charging forward like that. He does seem to have his own agenda out there.

He seemed to be ripping into Ryan Edwards in the pre-game huddle. And as I type this, Gallas limping off.

Ball was cleared out by the Glory defence, only to fall to Wee Mac who just had the keeper to beat and slotted it.

Wee Mac off the post with a free kick. He has been fantastic this half.

Permalink Permalink

Wee Mac is just fantastic when he gets to play wider for CCM. Not sure we will ever see the best from him for the AWs because he plays in the middle of the park for us.

Permalink Permalink

I think he should've scored from his second chance when he ran on to that through ball. just mis-controlled it slightly.

Hutchinson should be off. Many a ref would've re-carded him for kicking out at Burns. The fact that Burns was deliberately and painfully standing on Hutchinson's shin is not an excuse, even if it was understandable.
