DJ Brox is also suspended. Raining in Gosford atm, so that won't help Victory's style. Picking a CCM 1-0 win here.

I don't rate him that highly. His form has been pretty ordinary for the last few seasons now. MV have more than enough fire power at the other end of the park to score more goals than CCM.

Kosta looking the goods tonight. That was a beautiful through ball.

The best team does not always win, however it would be an injustice if Melbourne did not win this. They are much the better side and should have been 3-0 up at half-time.

If it weren't for some poor finishing by Troisi they'd be at least 2-0 up. Some really nice footy from MV.

Brent Griffiths not having the best of nights - that's the 3rd time he's given the ball away under no pressure and nearly given MV the lead.

Yeah griffiths gave it away in first 5 mins twice

Slow to turn too. Titanic would be quicker

He just isn't very good. I have no clue why he has jumped ahead of Zac Anderson in the pecking order.

Roux having a good game tonight. He has looked really good going forward.

I shoved money on the Victory, so they are bound too now.

Well as 0-0 draws go that was quite entertaining. Interesting to see what a winning psychology does for a team: even though CCM were under the pump for almost the whole game they pressed hard for a late winner when the game opened up at the end. Can't imagine the dysfunctional NIx of the last few seasons daring to do that.

We pushed for a winner last week after equalising.

I've erased all memory of last week from my memory banks. It will only come back to me in nightmares.

Besides, we were clearly better than them and a man up, so you'd expect we'd try to finish them off. But if we had been as badly outplayed as CCM were last night I'm 90% sure we would've been content to hang in there and take a well earned point, rather than risking it all for the full three. It's a winning mentality that Arnold installed in his team that we have lacked for a long time.

He lost it after about 10 mins. Not a poor ref, just incompetent.
