Shit defending, own goals, piss poor refereeing, embarrassing coach behaviour: welcome to the A League!

Entertaining though.

This.

Pen was shit but I don't see how that shouldn't have been a goal only a couple of minutes before hand.

Kosta Kosta Kosta!!

Permalink Permalink

Oh Kosta. Could've squared it to anyone of 3 team mates but slotted it straight down the keepers throat

Permalink Permalink

Oh dear, Kosta....

And how the hell can the ref allow an injured player back onto the park when an opposition player is just a few meters away?

That was a crazy game. For Kosta it was lucky MV hung on after his Totori-esque incompetence. Quite funny seeing Berisha sulk like mad too.

Did Kosta ever scored? How many one on one does he need?

I don't think ive ever hated anyone more than I hate Kevin Muscat, and I don't even know him. I'll never feel fulfilled in life until I have my chance at knocking him the fudge out.

At tonight's game. Weirdly.

As the standard of the A League changes (Hopefully for the better) has anyone else noticed that the standard of the match officials has not improved from day one? Who the hell is in charge of the referees and why don't they do something about their standard thats seems to be slipping rather than improving?

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Gotta say I find Gombau much more loathesome than Muscat

What's Kenny Lowe's back story? Bit ironic that Perth's dominance comes on the back of disciplined and muscular defence and crosses into Keogh.

What Perth dominance? Roar have had 60 % possession.

Still putting in crosses to man-mountain Henrique. Bizarre.

Pretty uninspiring  game

Really nice touch that 63rd minute gesture.

Three for me, and two for them.

Inspiring 63rd minute though. #batsoutforphil

Attaboy Henrique!

Permalink Permalink

That was a great goal from Henrique.

Reminded me of something Paul Ifill would have done with a ball like that.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Maybe it wasn't one of his best games but you have to hand it to Broich, his work rate is phenomenal.

Good lesson for us in that even if you are outplayed for most of the game you still find a way to secure a point.

Probably the worst game I have ever seen Broich play. By his standards he was very poor and should have been dragged.
