What was Barbiero thinking? Straight red for what looks to be an elbow to Heffernan, running in from a mile away.

Finally some consistency between refs! That was a lot worse than what Henrique did.

That is going to be a long ban.

The irony is excrutiating. Heffernan blatantly chucks his elbow TWICE into Reds players and doesn't cop a card of any kind.

Red Card, surely the punishment is ltd by it?

Can't be longer than what Muscat got, so probably only 3 games.

7 minutes of stoppage time. Haven't seen that in the A-League!

Nope, Muscat still got a hefty ban despite being sent off.

Also shoved Djite in winning the ball that started a passage that led to Mehmet's offside goal.

Muscat got 8 weeks, this might be in the 4-5 weeks bracket I think.

Yeah, that's the first one. Deliberately throws up his elbow into Djite's face. No mistake, he meant to do it. Ignored by Mr Gillett.

Second one, grapples and elbows in the face a Reds winger as he threatens to get around him into clear space. Mr Gillett doesn't consider this a yellow card offence but is happy to give the same to a player who takes 4 seconds too long to take a throw in.

Jesus wept.

That was a truly awful game to watch. Dodgy ref decisions, sickening head clash, filthy elbows flying everywhere, generally terrible football, and of course a sh*tty result.

Would like my thursday night back please.

Gillet, the worst a ref can get.
This was the joke of a referee who got a week off right? Cos I think he needs about 52+.
Red was the right decision of course, but everything else... wrong wrong wrong.

Is it 4 additional matches on top of the red card suspension?
