They may just be five games into their season, but Sydney FC are already turning their attention towards bolstering their forward line in the mid-season transfer window with the potential signing of former A-League star Fabio Ferreira.

I would guess that Brandan going would open a visa space for McCormack to remain for the rest of the season. Sydney have the ACL that would probably appeal to Dejagah, tho that rumour seems to have died down atm.

Central Coast Mariners midfielder Liam Rose is likely to leave the club at the end of the season to pursue overseas opportunities.

The Covert Agent can reveal the 20-year-old has signed with an agent who has strong Scandinavian connections and will seek a release when the Mariners campaign comes to an end." I posted this in another thread but I wonder how it works considering he was on a three year deal where most of the money was front loaded into the first year.

Exciting Perth Glory youngster Jacob Italiano is reportedly headed to the German Bundesliga after an impressive start to his A-League career.

It is believed the 16 year-old is due to fly to Germany this week to meet with a top flight club and sign a contract that will see him head overseas when turns 18 on June 30, 2019.

News Corp reported deal also guaranteed Italiano would remain in Perth for at least one more season, with the club in line for progress payments trigged by appearances over the next 18 months.

He is set to miss Glory's away clash with Brisbane Roar on Thursday due to his German adventure, but will likely return to face Sydney FC on December 30.

NEWCASTLE Jets are poised to bring one of Australia’s brightest prospects, Riley McGree, back to the A-League.

The 19-year-old signed a lucrative four-year deal with Club Brugge in July but is yet to play a game for the Belgium powerhouse and is keen to return to Australia on loan.

Adelaide United and Scottish giants Celtic have also shown interest in the midfielder but The Herald understands that a deal with the Jets is almost finalised.

The transfer window opens on January 3, but McGree would not touch down in Newcastle until the end of Australia’s campaign at the under-23 Asian Championships in China, which is being held from January 7-23.

In-form Jets duo Joe Champness and Ivan Vujica and fringe trio Nick Cowburn, Lachy Jackson and Devante Clut are also in the mix for the Olyroos.

McGree would come into the Jets squad as an injury replacement for Jake Adelson, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and is out for the rest of the season.

If that McGree move comes off, that is a huge coup by the Jets. Turns the IR for your 22nd man in your squad into a guy that made Socceroos train on squads last season. It is the kinda move we need Domey to start making.

Gutted for Adelson tho, that is 3 ACLs in the last 3 seasons iirc.

Still trying to find the primary source, but a lot of rumours floating around that Bernie Ibini is on the verge of singing with the Jets, just needs to complete the medical. If this is true that's a truly terrifying Jets team to play

Twitter rumour afaik. He is a good impact player off the bench but struggles to do it over a full game when starting imo. Would be a surprise if the Whitecaps gave up on him so fast but he seems to be loaned back to the A-League every couple of years.

Whitecaps haven't protected him for the upcoming expansion draft. I see the rumour is on the Four Four Two forums as well that he is going to the Jets.
