He has grown up and improved significantly during his time at Celtic and will be a completely different player to what he was in his early A-League days.

Hearing that Mark Birighitti and the Central Coast Mariners are headed for a standoff. Birighitti has asked for a release from his contract to join Dundee United on a free transfer. The Scottish club is also targeting Western United left-back Ben Garuccio.

A-League transfer news: it is believed that Perth Glory proposed a swap deal with Western Sydney Wanderers for Pacifique Niyongabire and John Koutroumbis. Both clubs were keen but the move was rejected by one of the players.
The Hearts announcement sounds like the Glory paid a fee for Aaron McEneff. That will be their third time in the last couple seasons, Sardinero and Williams the other two.

Roster restrictions apply to players registered to play in the A-League, so no he wouldn't take a spot. Not sure why they would loan him out tho. Pretty sure he only has a season left on his deal, so surely you look too sell him?
I don't know, his body the last few seasons has seemed pretty knackered and his involvement in games has diminished - only completing 90min in 12 games in the past 2 seasons.
