Roar v Heart & Adelaide v Mariners

The next step in operation #avoidthespoon gets underway soon. We really need Brisbane to win to have a decent chance of avoiding the spoon.

Also, if Adelaide win their remaining two matches, the Victory will have nothing to play for in their match against us next week, so they would probably rest some players.

Note that Roar vs Heart is delayed on Sky until midnight, but Adelaide vs Mariners is LIVE on the Highlights channel at 9pm.

451 days since Heart won outside Melbourne, longer away win dry spell than Patrick!

Franjic has been back to his best, since his move forward into the midfield.

Nichols has butchered some great chances so far.

I'd be dragging Nichols off at halftime. Surely Nijland would have been able to finish those chances.

Thank heavens you are not the Roar coach.

Look what you just said. He has run that midfield.

I would say it is Broich that is pulling the strings in midfield for Roar. I am watching a stream that is not very good however.

He didn't get his overseas move at the start of the season and has been sulking since. He will head off for trials at the end of the season I'm sure.

I'm torn, would like CCM to win so they have a chance of getting the premiers plate.  But would also like a decent chance at beating Victory

Brockie needs to score 2 next week

Mariners 1-0 up.

Being the last game, we will know what he needs. Atm 1 will mean the title would be shared.

I know, I was more interested in him winning.

CCM ahead 1-0 at HT. Duke really should have made it two. CCM really missing Wee Mac imo.

This is pretty boring.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Nice win for CCM, now just need them to beat the Heart next Saturday to give us a chance to give them the spoon.

Jets v WSW on the Friday night, CCM v Heart the first game Saturday. If WSW get the point they need, CCM will rest players ahead of their ACL game on the 3rd April imo.
