After watching 30 mins of this game, we need to win tomorrow because Adelaide will be a big tester next week.

It's the first time I've seen them do it.

Just the Friday free to air games afaik.

Just got home to see it getting a bit testy. Has it been like this all match?

Game flow is utter crap. Ref stopping every challenge.

Unbelievable. Totally outplayed yet Sydney may yet again fluke a result.

Best result for us a draw perhaps?

I think Adelaide will make the top 6 easy, so its probably better for Sydney to get none.

Probably, although teams are going in and out of form so dramatically this season that I almost prefer to keep two teams above us within sight.

Nice work Brucie.

That's an absolute cracker from Djite. Have been forced to change my long held opinion on him recently.

He really has blossomed as a player the past couple seasons at Adelaide. One of the best strikers in the A-League now.

Yes,even though his strike rate in terms of goals isn't all that special he is a very strong presence up top; holds, protects and lays the ball off really well, and is surprisingly skilful for such a big bloke. The way he shrugged off Ogenovski for that late goal was impressive.

Also he's not the crybaby he once was at GCU. A tough cookie nowadays.

Man, Liam Miller really is shite. That's the third easy chance he has missed in a game and a bit.

Much as I dislike the guy that was a good goal by Brattan. Made easier by Finkler not bothering to run across and tackle him.

FT 1-0

Cracker of a game that. The game deserved a goal.

Congrats to Brisbane, deserved Premiers. Shame Sky didn't think it worthwhile to show the trophy being awarded.

Permalink Permalink

I'm absolutely furious the idiots at SKY didn't show the trophy handover, instead they put some fishing show on...

You can obly shake your head in disbelief sometimes.

There are only 2 trophies a year anyway...

Managed to get to two different A-league games in two different cities in 3 days. Huzzah.

It's over, RR, we all know it. I didn't expect it to come so soon but once again we're at that part of the season when we forlornly watch the other cellar dwellers and hope they keep losing.
