Round 3

Unless I missed it, nobody has posted anything yet for other games for Round 3.

I was surprised TAB is paying $1.70 (70% profit) on Victory beating The Jets in Newcastle, on current MV form I would say Jets are downed.

Picking the Jets to park the bus and Victory wont be able to break it down, dull 0-0 draw.

Trifunovic should have scored, almost looked like he expected it to be called back.

Much more entertaining game than I expected

Newcastle proving a hard nut to crack at home. 

A much more even contest than I expected.

Newcastle have been quite impressive, actually.

Are we seeing The Return of Carney this season?

This guy promised so much as a young fullback at Sydney FC before he went off to Sheffield and then to Uzbekistan, and when he returned he was a shadow of his former  self. This season he seems to be doing all the right things. When was it last time he scored two goals in one season?

Bling bloody lucky.

There seems to be quite a healthy sprinkling of donkey imports this season. Both those guys and Fernandez for Perth have been honking so far. Trifunovic may have managed to bundle one past us but for sheer comical ineptitude in front of goal he has the potential to rival even the legendary Michael Mifsud.

Thinking City could put a few goals in the net tonight.

Mooy is the best midfield player in the league

Mooy looks to be far and away the best player in the league this season. I think he is far better this season at actually controlling the game. It's a bit scary when you consider that Melbourne City have so much talent to come back into their squad.
