Adelaide vs City to kicks us off on a Thursday night. Don't expect a Guy Fawkes Night cracker here tho, Adelaide are yet to score a goal themselves.

City to win 2-0.

Portaloo opens the scoring from the corner

Terrible defending from that corner.

Mooy-bourne City

I don't think City are gonna throw the lead away this week.

It's hard to believe that a Reds team with that much quality can continue to be so shark. Seems inevitable that they will suddenly regain form next week.

Bruno puts the icing on the cake.

Really it could be 7-0 by now. MC have missed a bunch of very good chances.

Wait, what? Adelaide scored? Wonder if City can find a way to drop some more points here

Never a dull moment with this City outfit!

Enjoyable game that, does help when neither team are that great on defence

Yeah, was good fun. Interesting contrast between the playmakers of both teams: Mooy continues to be simply outstanding, Carrusca disinterested and off his game. Let's hope he stays like that.

A damp squib so far.

5/5 Sydney games have been half time draws this season (Three have been 0-0's). Hopefully it gets better in the second half.

I keep nodding off. Deadly dull stuff. They need more derbys.

Permalink Permalink

This is just so boring

Draw is a good result for us at least

That was the sharkest piece of shark I've seen in a long time.

Classic Graham Arnold; complete opposite of Ernie. Plays to not lose. Prefers a 0-0 draw to a 3-2 win probably.

Jets hosting WSW, followed by the FFA Cup Final.

Going Jets 1-0 and a Victory extra time victory 2-1

Permalink Permalink

Some nice saves by Birighitti keeping the Jets in this

Jets score, assistant flagged for offside and the ref over rules it. Replays show the offside call was right. Poppa is gonna go off in the post match presser

Now WSW get a penalty

That hack from Valeri was the most pointless I've seen. They were not about to lose the game at that point.  Still, pretty dominant display from MV (especially first half) and a deserved win.  Kosta had a great game again, just after outplaying Phoenix last Monday singlehandedly, or so it seemed at that time.
