I honestly believe Brisbane are being hamstrung by their tactics. The other night they refused to get crosses in from good positions at least half a dozen times and the absolute rigid necessity to play it out from the back has just cost them again.

Admittedly Broich is a big loss for Roar but it's really interesting how football's version of evolution is happening here, ie, teams are finding ways to not only counter Roar's attacking threat but also take advantage of their defensive shape.

The Roar really try to walk it into the box even when the box is packed with defenders. A lot of 1-2's around the edge of the 18 and there is just no room in there for them. Teams have figured out to strange the 18y box and that stops them.

He's been good enough for a move to Europe, so he's no donkey. I like him, he backs himself.

One thing about the ALeague this season, a lot more youngsters getting game time, overhyped or not, they're getting the experience others are not
