We kick off with the Jets hosting Adelaide tonight. Jets coming off the back of their first win in Perth in a decade, whilst Adelaide are reeling after a 4-0 thumping by Brisbane. Some good news for Adelaide tho, with Cirio being cleared to start. This is pretty much the best Adelaide line up for the season, with all their big guns named to start.

Im picking an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Couple early chances for both side, Cirio having a shot pushed onto the post by Duncan

Nabbout has come back from Malaysia a different player. He actually looks dangerous with the ball for the Jets

Chances a plenty, Clut with a great chance, Henrique with a 1v1, la Rocca with a header off the post. Its a nice open game

Nabbout opens the scoring after Adelaide turns the ball over too easily in the midfield. 1-0

Impressive composure by Nabbout there. You don't see that every day in this league.

Jets leading 1-0 at HT. Not the best quality football on show but still entertaining with both sides looking to attack. Jets have used the pace up front of Clut and Nabbout very well, catching out the high line by the Adelaide defence.

Adelaide is really missing Djite upfront. Guardiola shows glimpses of talent but he doesn't have the work rate they lost by selling Djite.

Duncan with a howler from an Isaias free kick, 1-1

Both Brown & Hoole butcher 1v1 chances to win it for the Jets in added time but Nordstrand pops up to convert his chance. 2-1

Big questions over whether it was offside tho!

I feel for Adelaide, Amor seems like a really good guy.

They lost so much quality in the off season and were unable to replace it. The owners didn't want to open their wallets to help him out.

Also the officiating against them is right up there with us.

Very sunny and warm day, will be disappointed if we dont get a big crowd.

Melbourne vs Melbourne 0:0 and each a red card would be my favorite result.

The Kiwi Messi ties it up 1-1.

Is Cahill the biggest cod in the A league? What a child honestly.

He's got plenty of competition among these two teams tonight. So many tantrums and crap that apparently are a vital part of the entertainment package of the A League now. Very amusing hearing Harper describe Berisha as a Kofi Annan-type peacemaker.

Great match from Rojas!

Goal and assist in a 2-1 win. And he didn't even play that well tonight.

I'd say he did play well. He wasn't involved in that many plays and fairly anonymous in the first 25/30 minutes but he slotted/assisted them when needed.

Yes Rojas was brillant.

Another win for Sydney I see.

Hingert almost opens the scoring with a lovely left foot shot but the goal post denies him

Pet Rat opens the scoring for Brisbane, rather nice free kick. 0-1

Nice goal from Petratos. Not sure that wall was the best though.

Where on earth did the Mariners get the banana republic kit?

Roar lead at half time & looking very comfortable. Cant see CCM coming back from here

Izzo cant build a wall to save himself.

Its a surf lifesaving charity kit, they did the same last season.

Tough assignment for Okon. So many of these young players are simply not up to first team A league standard. And with such an ordinary squad it's disastrous to lose players like Storm and Taveres. CCM's midfield has lacked any kind of creativity and solidity since Taveres got injured.

Whoops, double post, but one more thing, what the hell is going on with Ferreira? Looks totally disinterested and they hardly ever mount an attack down his wing. Was once a real talent in the league but he's just coasting now days.

He just doesnt look interested under Okon. He is off contract after this season, so guess he will be moved on. Must be close to having his Aussie passport, honestly could see Adelaide being interested in him

Not sure they'd want him on current form!

And just like that, Fabio kicks into gear and sets O'Donovan away for the equaliser 1-1

Yeah, that was inevitable. But I think the distinctly unenthusiastic celebration from him speaks volumes.
